# 7-Day Quiet Period

**First 7 days after open: no inflation.** [LP pairing](/supply/lp-pairing) / pooling, [mint-to-swap](/supply/mint-to-swap), the [green channel](/launch/green-channel), and the [team management mint](/supply/management) **still run on their own rules**.

This week pauses **staking inflation / premium issuance** only.

## Paused

* **Staking inflation** — no inflation those seven days. After that week, staking effective weight <Md expr="w" /> votes **whether** inflation is on, **per-period size**, and **interval**.
* **Premium issuance** — the discount-purchase printer waits with inflation. Even after the week, and even if that proposal passes, issuance still opens only when premium is above **45%**, to addresses that meet the staking rules; see [Premium Issuance](/supply/premium)

## Still on their own rules

* **Forming pools** — [SHYT/HOLI](/launch/genesis-pool), [HOLI/USDG](/launch/usdg-pool), later stock if the gates pass. That is [LP-pairing mint](/supply/lp-pairing), not staking inflation.
* **Mint-to-swap** — still needs premium **exceeds 500%**, **at most once per hour**, **≤ 2%** price impact; see [Mint-to-Swap](/supply/mint-to-swap)
* **Green channel** — market buy via SHYT/HOLI; see [SHYT Green Channel](/launch/green-channel)
* **Team management mint** — from Genesis, every **365 days**, mint **1% of then** <Md expr="S_t" /> to the **dev address**. It does **not** consume this 7-day inflation quiet; see [Team Management Mint](/supply/management)

Premium issuance is a staking mechanism. It does not run while inflation is paused. [Eligibility](/staking/eligibility) and [effective weight](/staking/weight) still apply to any position that is already staked. <Md expr="W" /> can still accrue. Deposits can still land.
